The Mixed-Box Challenge is a creative fundraising event that brings local chefs, sponsors, donors, and community supporters together to raise awareness and support for Emergency Feeding Program’s food assistance work.
Inspired by a mystery-box cooking competition, participating chefs receive a box of surprise ingredients and are challenged to create dishes across multiple rounds, such as an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Judges then evaluate each dish based on creativity, presentation, taste, and use of the ingredients provided.
This event helps turn food, fun, and friendly competition into meaningful community impact. Proceeds and support from this event, including sponsorships, donations, ticket sales, and in-kind contributions, will help EFP provide emergency food assistance, hygiene supplies, culturally appropriate foods, snack packs, and other essential resources to individuals and families in need.
The Mixed-Box Challenge is more than a cooking competition. It’s a community-driven event that celebrates creativity, partnership, and one shared goal: feeding more families.
